Tchibo Praha, spol. s.r.o

Tchibo is one of the largest coffee producers in the world. In many European countries, including the Czech Republic, it is the market leader in roasted coffee. In the Czech Republic, it is the market leader in coffee refreshment and is also one of the largest internationally operating retailers. It offers its products through a multi-channel distribution system consisting of a network of brick-and-mortar Tchibo stores, an e-shop and a network of sales points in selected chain retailers.

The company was founded in 1949 in Hamburg, Germany, where it is still headquartered. In the Czech Republic, it has been operating through Tchibo Praha, spol. s r.o. since 1991 in the roasted and instant coffee segment and single serving coffee systems under the well-known brands Tchibo, Jihlavanka, Davidoff Café and, since 2023, Eduscho. Since 2004, Tchibo has also been offering consumer goods on the Czech market.

Tchibo runs business responsibly. It has been involved in many projects aimed at sustainable production of coffee, cotton and wood, as well as ensuring adequate working and living conditions for small-scale farmers and factory workers. It is actively helping to address issues such as global warming, water, land, energy and resource management, waste management and biodiversity conservation. It is involved in many local communities.
